HRPro License Types

Server License
- Description: Allows unlimited users to log in to unlimited companies from unlimited computers to access the server.
- Registration: Server Name
Company License
- Description: Allows unlimited users to log in to one database from unlimited computers.
- Registration: Company Name
User License
- Description: Allows only the registered user to log in to unlimited companies from unlimited computers, with the condition that only one instance of the software is used at a time.
- Registration: Server Name + User ID
Browser License
- Description: Purchased per browser installed on a device (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Allows unlimited users to log in to unlimited HRPro companies on a Server from that specific browser.
- Registration: Specific Browser
Device License
- Description: Purchased per device (computer) for simultaneous use on the Windows-based Local Area Network, regardless of the number of users using that device.
- Registration: Computer Name
- Note: It may not work behind a firewall/proxy unless VPN is deployed.

Server
- Definition: A computer on which the Licensed Product is installed and from which other computers receive or retrieve data. Technically, it means one instance of the SQL Server service.
Company
- Definition: The HRPro Application database. Usually, each HRPro Application database contains one legal entity.
User
- Definition: An employee, consultant, or other individual who benefits from the Licensed Product.
Browser
- Definition: An application program that provides a way to look at and interact with all the information on the HRPro Application Server, such as Edge, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
Device
- Definition: Any device or computing environment that benefits from HRPro (for example but not limited to, workstations, personal computers, laptops, netbooks, tablets, smartphones, and environments connected to email servers, an internet proxy, or a gateway device, or a database). HRPro does not have to be physically installed on the computer environment to provide benefits, nor is there a requirement for the computing hardware to be owned by the Licensee. The term Device as defined herein includes, without limitation, non-persistent deployments, electronic devices that are capable of retrieving data, and virtual machines.
